Funding and supports

  • The Arts Council — Ireland’s national agency for funding and developing the arts, including music bursaries and commissions.
  • Music Network — National music touring and development organisation; runs the Music Capital Scheme, which funds instruments and equipment.
  • Creative Ireland Programme — Government programme funding culture and community creativity, including local Creative Communities grants.
  • Culture Ireland — State agency funding the presentation of Irish arts abroad, including touring grants for musicians.
  • First Music Contact — State-funded resource organisation for musicians; runs advice clinics and Ireland Music Week.
