Kolo builds the sound for productions, exhibitions and film. That runs from effects, playback and underscoring for the stage to finished voice-over and music delivered for a visitor centre, an installation or a video.
For the stage
Aidan designs and operates. He sources and edits effects, records underscoring, programmes the playback and mixes the run, whether the production is professional or amateur.
Recorded audio
For an exhibition or a film he records and edits voice-over, writes and records original music, and delivers finished audio ready for the system that will play it.
Live scores
Through Thunderclap Murphy, Aidan improvises ambient scores live while people read, look at art or rest. A film score is normally written months after the shoot, in a studio. This is the same craft practised live, in front of the people it is for.
